Start with the intended use and dimensions
Explain whether the pool is for exercise, family time or relaxed outdoor use. Shape, depth, steps and additional features affect construction and equipment requirements. Confirm the proposed layout against the available plot, leaving space for movement, seating and maintenance around it.
Include preparation and site access
Ask what excavation, removal, disposal and site preparation are included. Narrow access or constraints on deliveries can affect how the work is carried out. Existing conditions may need further investigation before a firm scope is possible; have any unresolved assumptions recorded in the proposal.
Compare the complete finish specification
